Travel photography workshop
William Abranowicz, Allegra Pomilio
3-7 OF JULY
“There are two states we live in. One exists within us, the other outside us. Great photography comes with the melding of those two states. What we see and when we see it is directly connected to our interior state, is driven by our personal history and the emotional reaction to a subject, regardless of what that subject is”. This workshop will be focused on travel photography and reportage.

Allegra Pomilio, Dimitris Krousis, Letitia Clark
22-25 OF AUGUST
The tradition of home made produces is something still very common on the island. Everybody loves to make their own batch of special wine or cheese ready be savoured during the rest of the year. During this workshop we’ll discover some of the best local producers of the island and you’ll have the chance to truly explore and understand the beauty of the island. Isolated beaches, crystal waters and wild animals wondering around freely, imagine to find yourself submerged into this idyllic scenery, with fruit and olive trees a few steps from the sea and spontaneous grapes growing on the soil.
baking and cooking retreat
Yossy Arefi, Allegra Pomilio, Letitia Clark
30TH OF AUGUST - 4TH OF SEPTEMBER
There’s something special about the feeling of seeing a season slowly coming to an end and leaving place to another.
Summer is all about light meals shared and eaten outside with friends; the essence of food is at its purest state and cooking becomes just a question of assembling the best ingredients together, leaving the good extra virgin olive oil doing all the rest. September is one of our favourite months here at Mèlisses; it’s the beginning of fall, but it’s also the prosecution of summer for a little while longer.
